Prior to spring break, a group of McCall-Donnelly students were able to spend a week in Washington DC gaining a better understanding of how the government works. Students visited major landmarks (the Capitol, Smithsonian Museum and the DC Monuments), met with members of Congress to include Senator Risch and participated in discussions, debates and simulations about real-world issues.
