Watershed Project Photos
Heartland High School Science students studying the Payette River Watershed completed habitat, biological, physical, and chemical assessments of the River. As a culminating project, HHS partnered with IDFG, VCSWD, and McCall Parks and Rec to plant part of the river's riparian zone in an effort to stabilize the riverbanks and reduce further erosion.
