HHS at Trinity Pines

Heartland Highschool started out the 2023-2024 school year with a trip to Trinity Pines Camp and Conference Center located in Cascade, Idaho.

Heartland students and staff enjoyed the opportunity to challenge themselves on the Ropes Course at Trinity Pines. Throughout taking this course, led by Tyler Luschen, students had to work together physically and mentally to achieve their goals and face their fears.

The new principal of Heartland, Kim Arrasmith, says, “...The students at HHS are AMAZING!” She goes on to add, “You all are so unique and inspiring.”

Leighlyn, a Junior student at Heartland High School enjoyed the retreat and the time to learn about her classmates and teachers, “We got to learn about teamwork and the staff at Trinity Pines were super nice.”

In between courses, the whole school got together for lunch, prepared and provided by Trinity Pines staff.

Trinity Pines is a Christian camp and conference center, owned and operated by the Intermountain District Church of the Nazarene. The 198-acre land is used for many different things; ranging from gatherings and events to activities and courses provided by Trinity Pines themselves.
