  • May/June Update

    The school year is coming to a close and MD Athletics have a lot to celebrate - 4 State Trophies, 3 State Track Championships in Girls 800m Sprint Medley,  300m Hurdles, and Unified 4x100 Relay, 3 District Championships, and a School of Excellence Award from the IHSAA!!

    It has been a fantastic year and we are already looking forward to next year! Summer workouts and practices are already started. Here is a list of the summer activities scheduled by sports. 

    Cross Country

    We will be running together every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 8:30 at Ponderosa State Park Visitor's Center (starting June 11th). We will also do one long run each week, usually on Saturday mornings (to be announced each week). Athletes can contact Coach McManus at 208-315-3081 if they are interested.

    Girls Soccer

    Every Wednesday 5:30. Girls kick arounds. Small sided games and fun. Come join us for some low key games. A great way to keep your touch tuned up. Call Coach Pim for details 208-628-4211. 

    Boys Soccer

    Starting June 10th - Twice weekly kickabouts every Monday and Thursday evening from 6:30-8:00 at MDHS

    Starting July 8th - 4 week pre-season conditioning program Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 8:00-9:00 at MDHS
