MDHS drama presents two, one-act plays, TOTALLY RED! by Dinah Toups and THE FAMILY JEWELS by Andy Gregg.  Totally RED! is a fun twist on the traditional story of Little Red Riding Hood.  Six vignettes each highlight a different style of theater, including melodrama, Broadway musical, Elizabethan, and even an avant garde piece directed by senior Carson Guzik.   The Family Jewels is a comical mystery featuring a merry mix-up of preposterous imposters and one clever "thief."  As Lord and Lady Twitchwell, freshman Paige Chapman and sophomore Bryce Wolfe host the stereotypical suspects , while Shirley Holmes (senior Naomi Porter) attempts to reveal the notorious jewel thief.  Performances are at The Alpine Playhouse Thursday April 23rd, Friday April 24th, and Saturday April 25th.  Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7:30.  Tickets are available at the door and at the MDHS Office, $5 for adults, $4 for students.

Meet our newly certified French chefs!  Our first cooking session was a hit ... the gougeres (cheese puffs), mousse au chocolat, and spinach-artichoke dip were delicious. The only difficulty arose when it cam time to stagger away from the table ... MIAM! MIAM! (that's yum-yum in French!)
