Greetings!

Thanks for another fantastic year!  For those new to our area, our students use poems, songs, chants, games, dances and instruments to learn about music with each grade active at their own level.  Starting in Kindergarten our students use small percussion instruments, djembe and tubano drums, wooden xylophones and metal  glockenspeils.  Recorder is taught to 4th and 5th grade students.

Kindergarten through 2nd grade students work on singing/movement games and learning about rhythm symbols and how to read the treble clef.

3rd grade sings, learns dances, and plays instruments.

3rd grade and 4th grade students also focus on singing and creative movement to music.
