Wow what an incredible year!  You made it and you are on your way to First Grade. I am so proud of the progress you made this year. J Parents, I would like to thank you for entrusting your children to me and for all of your help this year. We made a great team!  Have a wonderful safe summer. Here are some fun activities to keep your children learning through the summer.

·         Summer Reading Program at the Public Library- Check the Star News for more information.

·         Journal writing-write in your journals about your summer adventures. Make sure you are using Word Wall words and that you are spelling them correctly.

·         Ponderosa Park Jr. Rangers-check the Star News for dates and times.

·         Read-Read every day! Go to the Public Library and check out some really great books with your Library card.

•  Math-keep counting by 1s, 5s & 10s.
•  Math Facts- practice your Addition & Subtraction Facts.(1-10).

·         Go to the beach and swim.

·         Eat some Ice cream.

·         Ride your bike.

·         Go for a walk.

·         Go camping.

·         Have Fun With Your Family! J

I will see you in August as I will be teaching T1 next year.

Reading: Read, Read, Read! Set aside 10-15 minutes a day for reading. Have your child read to you(at a level that is comfortable for them). Also take time to read to them. Keep track of your reading time in your reading logs and return them to me every Monday.
